An eye opener and a thought provoking subject of five times consecutive award winner at the national level, P Seshadri’s ‘Vimukthi’ is one of the three releases his Friday.

Navyachitra Creations ‘Vimukthi’ is based on a newspaper clipping appeared in a Kannada daily. Those who are on verge of death are brought to Varanasi and accommodated. Fifteen days time is given to such people to die. Those who live on the 16th day are sent back to their homes. For such a happening in our society director P Seshadri added the new syndrome. Director Seshadri shot for this film in the actual locations of Kashi and Varanasi.

This regional best Kannada film at the 56th national awards ‘Vimukthi’ has Ramakrishna in a scientist role while Bhavana plays his daughter and woman who enters the house is Hoda. S Ramachandra is the Cameraman and Pravin Godkindi has scored the music.
